Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Hayward, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living skills while exploring a new location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and patient and caregiver education preferred.
• Documentation experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience treating adults with complex medical needs, including post-acute and geriatric populations preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.
• Work days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
• Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.
• Candidate may be expected to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
