Job Title/Location:

Manufacturing Engineering Intern - Santa Ana, CA

Description:

• Assist in creation of mechanical designs for new tooling and drawings for manufacturing using 3D Solid Modeling CAD software.
• Analyze the design for tolerance stack-up, ease of manufacture, compliance to specifications and customer requirements making recommendations when necessary.
• Learn how to prepare drawings for approval and publishing to ensure accuracy and compliance to current practices.
• Aid in the review of existing tooling and processes and updates as necessary to meet current customer, industry and manufacturing standards.
• Aid in updating departmental procedures as needed.

Experience:

Experience working in any industry highly preferred.

Education:

• Students who will be graduating in May 2026 with a bachelor’s degree from accredited university in Mechanical Engineering or related field. OR obtained the degree in December 2025.

Physical and Environmental Elements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works indoors within the office and manufacturing areas. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate or loud. Also, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or to listen. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs. Pay Range: $25 to $25/hour.
