Collections Specialist

Job Title: Collections Specialist

Location: Onsite | Brisbane, CA

Job Type: Contract

Compensation: $30–$34 per hour

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Addison Group is immediately seeking a Collections Specialist (Contract)for a full-time, on-site role in Brisbane, CA (5 days per week) . This position will focus on managing delinquent accounts, supporting the credit review process, and ensuring timely collections.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers to request and secure payment on delinquent accounts
• Review and update account status in accordance with established guidelines
• Track payment commitments and schedule follow-ups
• Assist with initial credit application reviews prior to approval
• Escalate credit requests that exceed approved limits
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and cash receipt reports
• Maintain accurate documentation and collection activity logs
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and courteous approach when communicating with customers
• Ability to follow policies and procedures consistently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
