Location: 2671 Main St, Santa Monica, CA 90405

Schedule : Hospital Hours - Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Salary: $29-$31/hour; compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician who is a believer in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

Essential job expectations, including, but not limited to:

• Venipuncture
• Catheter placement
• Radiology
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Physical examinations and patient assessment
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Dentistry
• Laboratory work
• Pharmacy
• Patient recovery
• Compassionate care for hospitalized patients

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Must have documented previous Animal Hospital experience
• Hold a current California RVT license
• Must have surgery and dentistry experience
• Flexibility in hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Customer service skills, including Phone skills
• Working knowledge of computers
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
