Job Summary

The GMP Account Sales Specialist is responsible for driving commercial success of the GMP product portfolio by fostering strong customer relationships, developing targeted sales and marketing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role is key to enhancing customer experience, accelerating growth, and increasing profitability across assigned accounts and regions.


Essential Responsibilities:
• Own the sales and marketing strategy for the GMP portfolio; drive execution to meet growth targets and profitability goals.
• Partner closely with Business Development Executives (BDEs) to support and grow existing GMP accounts and identify new opportunities. Main responsibility is to close and get POs for GMP opportunities.
• Act as a GMP key liaison/business development leader for assigned territories not currently managed by a BDE.
• Develop and deliver compelling customer presentations, quotes, contracting, and bundled offerings to drive conversions.
• Work collaboratively with marketing team developing initiatives including GMP-focused webinars, campaign follow-ups, and lead generation programs.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Client Services, Donor Recruitment, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction. Once the PO is received, the PMO team will drive the project forward in collaboration and partnership with the GMP Sales and Marketing Leader.
• Partner with PMO team who will track and communicate customer activity, scheduling, and follow-up through to completion, ensuring timely updates.
• Organize and lead regular business reviews to monitor customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide internal GMP training and represent the GMP portfolio in client meetings and marketing programs.
• Support strategic program development and process improvements in line with organizational objectives.

• Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing strategies.
• Strong analytical skills; capable of interpreting sales data and market trends to inform decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; capable of engaging internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently.
• Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive collaboration across departments and influence without authority.
• Deep understanding of GMP practices and documentation requirements (CDA, MSA, SOW, QTA, etc.).
• Comfortable with public speaking, delivering webinars, and presenting to executives and clients.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Life Sciences strongly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience required, ideally within a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in life sciences, biotech, or immunotherapy industries.


Technical Skills
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to quickly learn new software programs as needed.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $96,000 - $105,000K USD annually + 25% sales commission plan. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
