Job Title: ECC & SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling (FICO) Architect

Location: Brea, California (Onsite)

Duration: 31 Weeks

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ECC & S/4HANA FICO Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of finance and controlling processes. This role will be instrumental in harmonizing global financial operations and ensuring compliance with statutory, audit, and regulatory standards, including FDA, SOX, and IFRS .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solution design, configuration, and implementation of SAP ECC & S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules.
• Translate global and regional finance, accounting, and cost management requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit frameworks such as SOX, FDA, and IFRS .
• Drive standardization and optimization of financial processes across multiple entities and geographies.
• Collaborate with finance, tax, audit, and business stakeholders to define control frameworks and reporting structures.
• Enable integration with Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Project Systems for end-to-end financial visibility.
• Coordinate with customer stakeholders and offshore teams to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12–15 years of experience in SAP Finance & Controlling , including hands-on experience with S/4HANA Finance .
• Strong functional expertise in:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting
• Product Costing
• COPA (Controlling – Profitability Analysis)
• Deep understanding of compliance frameworks: SOX, FDA, IFRS .
• Experience working in multi-entity, multi-country environments , preferably in manufacturing or healthcare industries.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA).
• SAP Certification in S/4HANA Finance or Management Accounting .
• Experience with Central Finance, Group Reporting, or Treasury modules .
• Exposure to global or multinational SAP rollouts.
