Job Summary:
As a PM Lead driver it is your responsibility to ensure provision of safe and timely transportation services. Lead drivers will oversee day-to-day operations, our CDL training program, and our Driver Qualification Files (DQFs). They are responsible for leading by example and enforcing policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Leads provide training and guidance to staff, address safety issues, and notify more senior management as required. They may also be required to resolve guest issues and concerns and coordinate with dispatch, other departments, and outside agencies as needed. Leads will be able to perform all tasks for which our work group is responsible, including dispatch and driving, as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
- Train new drivers in: safety and guest service responsibilities, geographic routes and vehicles used to service locations, and applicable local, state and federal regulations in a consistently positive and constructive manner.
- Train new drivers up to and including CA and NV DMV CDL B/P standards.
- Accountable for observing and evaluating drivers’ operating behaviors and compliance with all company guidelines and DOT federal regulations.
- Be a role model for all drivers and an excellent representative of the company by adhering to and supporting all company safety programs and initiatives.
- Previous exemplary driving performance at Northstar or equivalent driving experience.
- Organize retraining program for drivers immediately following any safety incident or observed driving violation. Develop corrective action plan, provide constructive feedback, reinforce our driving best practices.
- Facilitate resort-wide safe driving course to educate employees on basic vehicle operation, safety guidelines, and resort policies and procedures while operating a company vehicle.
- Maintain organized driver files and complete training checklist for new drivers during the on-boarding process.
- Ability to fill in as a supervisor, driver and/or dispatcher if needed.
- Guide operations in the field by directing drivers to effectively meet expectations of our volume-based operating plan.
- Flexible working hours.

Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- At least 2 years minimum commercial driving experience at Northstar or other equivalent employer
- Must have demonstrated the ability to communicate and work well with the public and others inside and outside of the department
The expected pay range is $23.00/hr - $30.26/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
