- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies for the company and its clients.
- Oversee and review the preparation and filing of all tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and international tax laws and regulations.
- Provide expert tax advisory services to the company and its clients.
- Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns and other financial documents to identify potential tax risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
- Lead business development initiatives to attract new clients and expand the company's tax services.
- Train and supervise a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Represent the company and its clients in tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes effectively to the team and clients.
- Active CPA license is mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in general tax planning, compliance, and advisory services, including at least 5 years of experience representing clients in tax audits and negotiations, and managing tax staff.
- Extensive knowledge of local, state, federal, and international tax laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in business tax planning and corporate tax.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective tax planning strategies.
- Strong business development skills, with a proven track record of attracting new clients and expanding tax services.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in training and supervising a team of tax professionals.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review financial documents for tax risks and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the company and its clients effectively in tax audits and negotiations.
