Our first product is an AI scribe that automates medical documentation.

Since May of 2023, we have:

• Acquired 20,000 paying and loving clinicians

• Generated 70,000 patient notes daily and over 2 million monthly

With the backing of Sequoia Capital and other world-class VC’s, we are rapidly expanding our product offering. Patient-facing assistants, patient insights, EHR integrations, and other products are being built and used by thousands of clinicians every day.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're on the hunt for talented, high-caliber individuals who live on the bleeding edge of AI technology. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in restoring joy to medicine while pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI. Our engineering culture emphasizes speed, end-to-end ownership, responsibility, and independence, attracting top-tier talent and promoting exceptional performance.

HOW YOU’LL HAVE IMPACT

• Full Stack: Take ownership of product features and drive implementation across the components of our software stack.

• AI First: Adapt the latest AI models (language and speech) and techniques to our use case. You can contribute to any of: model training, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and optimizing inference for latency and cost.

• Empowered Teams: Collaborate with team members in a fully remote work environment (work hours are flexible but most of the team is on the west coast). Our teams are autonomous and cross-functional, including Product Management and UX Design.

• Data-driven: Design experiments to validate product changes and ensure the highest quality of our software.

• Clinician Obsessed: Have a passion for our mission and dedication to making a positive impact on the healthcare industry.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• A history of consistent top performance and a desire for a mission-driven work culture.

• 5+ years of experience in full-time, post-graduation Software Engineering.

• Prior experience with evaluations of ML or LLM-based product features, prompt engineering, agent-based approaches, and fine-tuning.

• Familiarity with using AI for development (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor).

• Desire to work across the stack on AI features, including frontend, backend, and interactions with LLM and ML models.

• Location within Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zone.

• Familiarity with our tech stack is preferred, including React, TypeScript, NodeJS, Azure and SQL.
