IT Technical Writer
• Edit and format reports, manuals, briefs, and instruction books.
• Translate complex IT concepts into clear technical and end-user documentation.
• Author UI text and assist with documentation reviews. Required Qualifications • AA/AS from an accredited college or university, OR 3+ years of equivalent related experience in lieu of degree.
• Active IAT Level I certification (A+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA Security) plus applicable CE/OS certification.
• Solid understanding of IT concepts and ability to translate them into technical documentation.
• Meticulous attention to detail and effective professional correspondence.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
• U.S. Citizenship. Desired Qualifications • BA/BS in English, Communications, or Technical Writing.
• Society for Technical Communication (STC) membership or certification.
• Experience with DITA, Markdown, or structured authoring.
• Experience documenting DoD or Army IT systems.
