Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data relevant to obstetric patients to determine care issues and needs
- Develop and implement an individualized plan of care to support labor and delivery outcomes
- Coordinate care delivery, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and a healing environment
- Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust the care plan as needed; participate in discharge planning
- Collaborate with patient, family, and a multidisciplinary team; provide education to patients and families
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the care team to maintain safe and effective operations

Requirements
- Current RN license valid in California or eligibility to practice
- L&D or obstetric nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and the 12-hour shift schedule; willingness to travel on a temporary assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to educate patients and families
- Vaccination requirement in line with organizational policy; exemptions may apply; ability to provide documentation
- Eligible to work in the United States and participate in required employment verification processes
