Registered Nurse Education Lead

Skilled Wound Care
Playa Vista, CA

:

Job Summary:

College of Long Term Care (a part of Skilled Wound Care) provides educational services, public policy, and research to the healthcare community. We are looking for an Education Lead with a healthcare background to oversee our Wound Care training throughout the United States.

Why Wound Care?

There is a gap in nursing education in the area of wound care, and CLTC's goal is to equip nurses from a variety of backgrounds to better assess, manage, and care for complex wounds. This is of larger benefit to society as a whole. There are an estimated 1 million to 3 million pressure ulcers in the United States with an additional millions of venous, arterial, and diabetic ulcers.

Society at large has significantly ignored wounds and ulcers, although they are seriously painful and life-threatening for patients. Wounds are not as appealing as other diseases to treat or raise funding for, and so this area is generally overlooked. Our mission is to help this underserved segment of patients with the best possible care they deserve.

The Education Lead role:

As a CLTC Education Lead, you have the opportunity to make a significant impact in this area of critical need. This role will ensure that our wound care expertise and philosophy is imparted as widely as possible. We are looking for individuals with a passion for education and wound care experience preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting, who can also have an in-depth understanding of the services we offer while leading program development and management .

Skilled Wound Care is a rapidly growing mobile surgical physician wound care group expanding into new markets of the United States. We invite you to participate in this exciting and mission-driven journey with us! Please apply if you feel you are the right fit.

Job Responsibilities:
