Machine Operator

Yakult USA - the world's leading probiotic drink manufacturer in Fountain Valley, is looking for Machine Operators!

• Location: Fountain Valley, CA
• Direct Hire with Excellent Benefit Package: Medical / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance, 401K with matching, Paid Holiday & PTO
• Work Hours: 5 days/week, Monday – Saturday (Sunday and another day off during weekday), 1st shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm, 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 12:00am, 3rd shift: 11:00pm - 8:00am
• Salary Range: $21.50 ~ $27.50/hr,plus $1.50/hr for 2nd shift, $3.00/hr for 3rd shift additional pay

Requirements of the Machine Operator:

• Mandatory 3+ years experience with machine operations: Pasteurizer, Blending Machine, or Filler (Filling Machine), Packing Machine or related production machine experience in the Food / beverage industry

• Basic skills to operate and maintain machinery

• Basic knowledge of Food Technology/Science, HACCP, GMP

• Exceptional organizational skills

• Adaptable and detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task

• Team-oriented mentality

• Able to follow the company rules and regulations

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. and climb to perform job functions as needed

• General Pasteurizer License under CDFA to operate UHT/HTST is a plus

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

Oversee the various stages of processing and producing in a manufacturing environment, such as:

• Prepare equipment and any raw materials for processing/bottling
• Maintain and sanitize production equipment
• Maintain inventory control for all materials
• Observe a safe work environment in accordance with the prescribed policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Troubleshoot any issues under the supervisor’s directions

You should be proficient in:

• Food and Beverage Manufacturing
• Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Blending
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Pasteurization Process
