About Us

Join STERIS Applied Sterilization Technologies (AST), a global leader with over 50 facilities dedicated to enhancing safety through contract sterilization services. Be part of our dynamic team in an environment that nurtures talent and innovation. Your shifts will run from Monday to Wednesday, 6 am to 6 pm, and Thursday, 6 am to 12 pm.

The Challenge:
Step into a challenging and fulfilling role focused on ensuring our facility's reliability. Your tasks will revolve around the technical upkeep and enhancement of a validated, cGMP environment, touching upon all key aspects of operational efficiency and downtime reduction.

Your Responsibilities

• Engage in thorough technical diagnoses and repairs across varying technical systems.
• Maintain high-efficiency machinery through routine inspections and proactive maintenance.
• Improve facility operations by suggesting process enhancements and initiating Lean methodologies.
• Ensure safety and compliance through rigorous standard inspections and adherence to safety protocols like LOTO.
• Manage spare parts inventory while supporting urgent operational needs.
• Complete training and development tasks actively, preparing you for job success.

The Skills You Bring

Essential Qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 2 years in maintenance-focused roles within manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Solid understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Competence in interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and communicate proficiently.

Preferred Capabilities:

• Initiative-driven and capable of independent work.
• Experience with digital tools and strong interpersonal communication abilities.
• Intermediate math skills beneficial, PLC experience a plus.

Your salary will range between $28 and $31 per hour, depending on various factors.
