Accountant
Cal-Ore Telephone Co, located in Dorris CA, is seeking a full-time Accountant. Cal-Ore provides an excellent work environment, including benefits. Salary is market competitive and commensurate with experience.
Duties:
- Completion of monthly accounting close process
- Preparation of monthly financial statements
- Preparation of workpapers supporting the annual tax returns
- Assist with preparation for annual audit
- Payroll
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of Accounting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Exceptional computer skills including Excel and applications
- Experience with accounting software, stand alone, and integrated
Desired Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting, finance, or another relevant field
- Telecommunication and Part 32 accounting experience
- Experience with multi state jurisdictions
- Internal/external auditing experience
