Anaba Wines Events Manger
Job Description:
Ideal candidates are motivated self-starters and team players who will proudly represent the quality of Anaba wine and hospitality. We are Seeking a detail-oriented, hospitality-experienced Events Manager to execute our Event program. The goal of this position is to ensure that events at Anaba Wines are coordinated with the highest attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating various events, including private events, and winery events as well as serving as the Event Manager for all on-site private events. This position requires strong communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
1. Manage all areas of on-site events including, but not limited, client communication, proposals, quotes, event orders, event marketing and execution.
2. Support hospitality team as needed with guest relations and tasting room needs. Potential to assist with hospitality/concierge projects, greeting guests, and hosting private tastings.
3. Own and maintain Event Calendar for all events.
4. Add all events to the Tock calendar and block off booked dates for outside reservations. Communicate with Tasting Room Manager on space and staffing needs.
5. Process event deposits and payments through Commerce7 and send final invoice to clients.
6. Manage event rental orders (furniture, supplies, linens, etc.) as necessary.
7. Manage room layout/furniture moving/ floorplans, and staffing. Requirements:
1. Associates degree or equivalent experience.
2. 1-2 years of event planning or coordination experience with experience in luxury and/or winery events preferred.
3. 1-2 years of on-site event execution experience.
4. Flexible Hours – ability to work nights and weekends as needed for the event calendar.
5. Strong organizational and communication skills.
6. Excellent attention to detail
7. Excellent customer service skills
8. Computer Savvy – Fluency in/willing to learn:
a. Google Workspace
b. Commerce7 (or comparable CRM/POS system)
c. Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
d. Excel a plus
e. Tock Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, with approximately 40 hours a week. On-site event execution and training required. This position will work all events and is not a Monday thru Friday position. The successful candidate will be required to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
