Role Overview
As the Principal Product Manager for our Developer Platform, you will be at the forefront of shaping a best-in-class experience for developers and other representatives of organizations integrating with ID.me. In this specialized role, you will lead and inspire a team focused on building a robust, intuitive, and secure platform that empowers customers to connect seamlessly with our services.
In this role, you will define and drive the roadmap for ID.me’s platform services, SDKs, APIs, developer tools, and documentation that power our digital identity verification solutions. You will serve as the voice of the developer — ensuring that integration with ID.me is secure, scalable, delightful, and efficient.
We are looking for a seasoned Principal Product Manager with expertise in building world class developer experiences and a proven ability to drive measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Define the strategy and roadmap for ID.me’s Developer experiences
- Act as the voice of the developer in Product UX and API design, gathering direct feedback from customers and members on the evolution of the platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and establish success metrics
- Work with engineering to build the next iterations of the product
- Collaborate with data science and product ops to continue driving improvements in success metrics
Basic Requirements
- 8+ years in Product Management, with strong focus in building developer facing platform products
- 2+ years of experience in the Identity and Access Management domain
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating in a B2B2C environment
- Experience shipping products that delight users and drive measurable impact
- Experience managing internal as well as external stakeholders, including setting expectations and navigating trade-offs
- Strong quantitative skills and experience defining and evaluating against success metrics
- Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate with brevity and precision.
The annual base salary listed does not include a company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity and benefits which will be determined based on experience, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location and role.
