Could you be the full-time Warehouse and Inventory Manager in Los Angeles, California we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your warehouse and inventory management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a dedicated and collaborative team of professionals.

You'll play a vital role in ensuring material availability, inventory accuracy, and operational reliability for the Los Angeles APM Operations & Maintenance (O&M) program. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality, and Safety), support operational performance, drive inventory control, and manage logistics efficiency.

You’ll specifically take care of implementing and managing warehouse processes aligned with operational needs, but also ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Setting up and managing warehouse processes aligned with operational and maintenance requirements

  • Ensuring inventory accuracy, material availability, and full traceability of parts

  • Driving inventory control activities, including stock policy and critical spare management

  • Coordinating material demand variations and technical modifications

  • Defining and managing inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory

  • Supporting maintenance teams with timely material availability

  • Anticipating and managing material shortages to prevent operational disruptions

  • Ensuring audit readiness and supporting internal and external audits

  • Driving continuous improvement in warehouse operations and material flow efficiency

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or materials management (5+ years preferred)

  • Experience in industrial, infrastructure, transportation, or rail system environments

  • Experience supporting maintenance or operational teams in fast-paced settings

  • Knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and material flow processes

  • Familiarity with ERP / MMIS systems (e.g., Maximo or equivalent)

  • Understanding of regulated or safety-critical environments (e.g., airport, rail, or infrastructure)

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy

  • Effective communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

  • Commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines

  • Work with new safety and security standards for rail systems

  • Collaborate with diverse and supportive colleagues across functions

  • Contribute to innovative projects that make a real impact

  • Utilise our dynamic and inclusive working environment

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries

  • Benefit from our investment in your development through award-winning learning opportunities

  • Progress towards leadership or specialized roles in warehouse and inventory management

  • Enjoy a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

Pay Range

$75,000 to $90,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
