Scrum Master - III

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to serve as a key member of one or more Agile delivery teams.

This role focuses on coaching teams in Agile practices, facilitating Scrum processes, removing impediments, and enabling teams to deliver sprint and program increment objectives.

The Scrum Master will foster high-performing team dynamics, continuous improvement, and effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, organize, and coach one or more cross‑functional teams in the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint execution, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Protect the team from distractions and external interference while ensuring focus on sprint and program objectives.
  • Identify, track, and remove impediments that may impact team delivery.
  • Serve as a primary communication bridge between product management, program management, and application development teams.
  • Facilitate discussions, decision‑making, and conflict resolution by promoting transparency and trust.
  • Partner with Product Owners and managers to support short‑ and long‑term release planning and maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog.
  • Manage and resolve dependencies across Scrum teams and ensure efficient cross‑team coordination.
  • Lead the development, tracking, and communication of Agile metrics, including velocity, burndown, cycle time and quality indicators.
  • Act as a change agent by adapting processes to maximize team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Coach the team on user story sizing, definition of acceptance criteria and Agile best practices.
  • Drive medium to complex cross‑functional projects and support program‑level initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project and release managers during production deployment activities.
  • Participate in Scrum‑of‑Scrums and coordinate with other Scrum Masters across teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, including at least 1 year of Scrum execution in an IT or software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, iterative and incremental development and multiple Agile frameworks.
  • Experience leading Agile teams in a Scrum Scaled Agile environment.
  • Hands‑on experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Jira Align and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of Scrum and Scaled Agile practices.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within Scaled Agile environments.
  • Familiarity with managing dependencies and coordination across multiple Agile teams.
  • Experience supporting Agile transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.

Certifications

  • PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe certification or equivalent Agile certifications (preferred)
