RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and provide a friendly, caring atmosphere for incoming/outgoing Service customers
- Assist with service check-in process
- Make key tags for vehicles Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
- Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed
- Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive
- Transport customers as needed
- Pick-up and deliver vehicles to and from storage as needed
- Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer and report any damage immediately
- Perform vehicle deliveries as required
- Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant.
- Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
- Maintains building and grounds as needed
- Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards
- Assist with shop clean-up
- Perform other duties given by Supervisor as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve
- Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
- Able to work flexible schedules including Saturdays
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Experience with X-Time and CDK a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
COMPENSATION:
The Service Porter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $19.00 and $20.00.
