Your impact

Responsible for daily tasks involved in design and management of facilities and structures for clients. This includes performing actual design tasks (conceptual, layout, and detail) and/or coordinating design and construction activities, studies, and various analyses. Create plans and gather design requirements for new structures. They can also design alterations or repairs to existing structures. Design Architects focus on the look and style of the project while adhering to building requirements and codes. Higher levels are responsible for setting company standards and developing the architectural discipline. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise; serves as an expert within own discipline. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify different solutions; guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on existing solutions and procedures. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead functional teams or projects. Also serves as BIM (“Building Information Modeling”) Lead - designated discipline representative that work with the BIM-Managers and Project Managers to provide a line of communication for the digital execution of projects and contribute to BIM-Standards updates. BIM-Lead's are expected to be subject matter experts in Architecture and BIM. They provide support to their discipline teams, typically 20-30 staff, when technical challenges specific to that disciplines work.

Hybrid schedule is allowed.

TRAVEL: 10% domestic travel to visits construction sites.

Here's what you'll need

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture or related field and 5 years of work experience in Architecture occupation.

As an alternative, employer will accept: a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture or related field and 7 years of work experience in Architecture occupation.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

Expertise/ knowledge of: CAD & BIM software platforms (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360 Docs, BIM360 Glue, BIM Collaborate, Sketchup, Bluebeam, Acrobat, etc.). Building codes, zoning requirements, project delivery methods, and the construction process & sequencing throughout the architectural design & construction process. Generating 3D models of conceptual, detailed models, and enhanced generative/ photorealistic visuals, animations, and VR elements. Construction phase aspects including construction techniques, materials, standards, sequencing, and the RFI (Request for Information) and submittal review process to ensure alignment with the project construction drawings and specifications. Project procurement and delivery methods (Traditional/ Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build (Single Stage & Two-Stage), Fastrack, Integrated Project Delivery, Construction Management, and Public-Private Partnerships) utilized by local government and private clients.

The base salary range for this position is $139,360.00 to $209,025.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
