VP of Operations
Reporting to the President of organic girl , llc, the VP of Operations is responsible for all aspects of organic girl operations to include manufacturing/production, warehouse, maintenance, facilities, engineering, co-packer relationships, and logistics. Additionally, the VP of Operations will be part of the senior leadership team & the Value-Creation Planning (VCP) team. The VP of Operations is responsible for following the Company Compass, Management Mindset, & Management System aligning the operations group with the Order Fill Process & Loyalty Generation Process to achieve our mission of Consumer Loyalty & Customer Loyalty. The VP of Operations will lead process improvement & Cap Ex processes for operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned as needed):
  1. Build a culture and environment of communication and coordination in and among operations verticals that allows the order fill process to function efficiently.
  2. Understand and coordinate organicgirl’s processes that utilize relevant metrics, run rate, and forecast known changes to build operations financial forecasts.
  3. Oversee processes to predict future outcomes and plan to realize desired outcomes.
  4. Ensure Right Work, Right Time, with Right Focus to improve operations processes as part of the ongoing daily workflow.
  5. Develop detailed project plans that outline the scope, budget, timeline, and resources required for successful project execution. Lead and motivate operations project teams, ensuring team members understand their roles and responsibilities. Foster a collaborative environment and maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders. Identify potential risks that could impact project success and develop mitigation strategies to address risks proactively.
  6. Have a comprehensive understanding of the overall business. Align operations strategy to support the transformation of the business through planning and leadership development.
  7. Plan and execute engagement plan to achieve loyalty with relevant vendors/regulators and employees.
  8. Direct operations directors and managers in the execution of their responsibilities to ensure operations objectives are met with respect to cost, quality, and service.
  9. Work with all verticals in the order fill process and revenue generation to understand what changes are necessary for future operations/products. Build the collection, and oversee execution, of procedural improvements and projects to facilitate operations capabilities.
  10. Ensure operations employees operate within established G.M.P.’s, plant rules and regulations with a high level of food and workers’ safety and quality.
  11. Attend Labor/Management meetings and participate in Collective Bargaining Agreement contract negotiations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10+ years of related experience in plant operations in produce or food manufacturing/consumer packaged goods or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Proven ability to manage, motivate and direct a multi-cultural workforce.
  3. Technical knowledge of industrial engineering techniques.
  4. Skilled in financial analysis (EBITDA).
  5. Project management experience is essential.
  6. Excel, Word, Power Point computer skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  1. Literate in English. Biliterate in Englis and Spanish preferred.
  2. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
  1. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATION:
  1. Valid driver’s license

  1. Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions. Interprets and extensive variety of information and make calculated decisions. Solves practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
