Senior Manager of Tax
Our client, a respected regional public accounting firm based, is seeking a Senior Manager of Tax to join their growing team.
Sacramento, CA. This position is hybrid, with in-office expectations 3 days per week. Job Description:
This is a high-impact leadership role with potential for long-term career growth, including a partnership track. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage tax engagements for privately held companies, high-net-worth individuals, and estate/trust clients
- Deliver proactive and tailored tax planning strategies to clients
- Review complex tax returns and filings for accuracy and compliance
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff
- Stay current on tax legislation and communicate implications to clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with firm leadership to identify opportunities to add value
Requirements:
- CPA designation required
- 7 years of progressive tax experience in relevant areas
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service
- Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
