Job Description

This role is responsible for leading a team of Executive Service Sales professionals focused on driving Medical Service revenue growth, expanding strategic service partnerships, and increasing service contract penetration within Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Clinical Engineering departments, Academic Medical Centers, and large healthcare systems.

This position provides leadership, coaching, and performance management to a team of Executive Service Sales professionals while maintaining executive-level relationships with key customers. This role is accountable for achieving regional service revenue targets, growing strategic clinical engineering accounts, supporting contract renewals and retention efforts, and executing service growth initiatives aligned with company objectives.

This position collaborates closely with Sales, Service Operations, Marketing, Finance, Contract Administration, Legal, and Executive Leadership to deliver customer-focused service solutions that improve operational efficiency, equipment reliability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Job Duties

  • Lead, coach, develop, and manage a team of Executive Service Sales professionals to achieve regional service revenue and performance objectives.
  • Hold direct reports accountable for sales performance, pipeline development, contract renewals, customer engagement activities, and achievement of assigned goals.
  • Develop and execute regional service sales strategies that support Medical Service growth objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Direct ownership of driving growth within targeted Clinical Engineering and Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) accounts through strategic account planning and executive-level customer engagement.
  • Expand service contract revenue, increase contract penetration, and identify opportunities for new service solutions within assigned accounts and health systems.
  • Ensure regional service contract renewal and retention targets are achieved.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders, including Clinical Engineering leaders, Supply Chain leadership, C-suite executives, and other healthcare decision-makers.
  • Lead executive business reviews with customers to assess service performance, contract utilization, customer satisfaction, and future growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Executive Service Sales team members to identify, qualify, and close strategic service opportunities.
  • Collaborate across corporate accounts and capital sales leadership on service contract activities
  • Support and participate in complex contract negotiations, renewals, amendments, and implementation activities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Service Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Contract Administration, and other internal stakeholders to develop and execute customer-focused service strategies.
  • Ensure effective account planning and coordination across Medical Service, field sales, and service operations teams.
  • Monitor regional sales performance, customer trends, competitive activity, and market opportunities to identify growth strategies and business risks.
  • Review and manage sales forecasts, pipeline activity, business metrics, and performance reports to ensure achievement of regional objectives.
  • Serve as an escalation point for critical customer concerns, contract issues, and strategic business opportunities.
  • Promote customer retention by ensuring delivery of value-based service solutions that improve customer outcomes, operational performance, and equipment reliability.
  • Support the successful implementation and launch of new contracts, programs, and service offerings within the region.
  • Collaborate with Planning and Operations teams to develop customer-facing reports, business reviews, and performance analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in medical device sales, service sales, healthcare contracting, clinical engineering services, or related commercial leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience managing remote sales or service sales professionals.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing sales teams and achieving revenue growth targets.
  • Experience working with IDNs, GPOs, Clinical Engineering organizations, Academic Medical Centers, and large healthcare systems.
  • Proven track record negotiating complex service agreements and strategic customer partnerships.
  • Experience conducting executive-level business reviews and engaging senior healthcare stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of service contract management, healthcare operations, and customer retention strategies.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence senior customer and business leaders.
  • Strategic planning and business development expertise.
  • Financial and commercial acumen.
  • Strong contract negotiation and consultative selling capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze business trends and develop growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory.

Total compensation: $175,000.00 base salary per year + eligibility for a performance-based commission plan, which includes certain non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives. Commission earnings are not guaranteed and are determined by individual sales performance in accordance with the terms of the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan.
