GHJ Search & Staffing is partnering with a growing $200M general contractor in the South Bay that’s looking to bring on a Controller to report directly to the CFO.

This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role overseeing accounting operations across AP, AR, and project accounting — with a strong emphasis on WIP, financial reporting, and team leadership.

• Direct visibility and partnership with the CFO
• Opportunity to elevate and build out the accounting function
• Involvement in an upcoming ERP implementation (Viewpoint/Vista)
• Collaborative, down-to-earth culture with a tenured team
• Real ownership — not just reporting, but driving change

• Controller or strong Assistant Controller ready to step up
• Experience in construction or project-based accounting
• Strong WIP / job costing background
• Hands-on leader who can roll up their sleeves
• Comfortable working onsite
