Quality Laboratory Technician
Roles & Responsibilities
- Routinely monitors the quality of water used in the production of IVD and Research products and may perform trend analysis of the microbial content of the RO/DI water.
- Performs routine monitoring for the viable and non-viable particle counts in the labs.
- Performs routine or periodic bioburden testing.
- Performs calibration, maintenance, and cleaning of instrumentation as required.
- Maintain meticulous records of all testing data, materials used and results of tests.
- Learn to identify microorganisms as they are found during RO/DI water monitoring, environmental monitoring, and bioburden testing.
- Promotes a safe work environment.
- May provide recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment.
- Participates in Environmental, Health and Safety programs. Addresses corrective actions whenever a hazard is identified.
- Notifies supervisor of all observed hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Experience Required
- Two years of related experience in a regulated industrial or research laboratory or equivalent combination of related experience and education.

Eligibilities & qualifications
- Typically requires a BS/BA in a related scientific discipline and zero to two years of related experience in a regulated industrial or research laboratory or equivalent combination of related experience and education.
