Salary: $190k $205k base + equity

What You Will Do

As a Senior Android Engineer , youll take ownership of critical features within a widely adopted mobile app that sits at the heart of workplace transformation. Youll be working on highly visible, user-facing functionality that impacts both employees and administrators.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and shipping core Android features, including desk/room booking, real-time notifications, and check-in experiences using Bluetooth/NFC.

• Driving the technical direction of the Android app, including architecture decisions and process improvements that increase developer velocity.

• Owning the full development cyclefrom design and implementation to testing, release, and ongoing maintenance.

• Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, reliable mobile experiences.

• Elevating app quality and performance by enforcing best practices, writing maintainable code, and introducing thoughtful testing strategies.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 510 years of professional Android development experience.

• At least 2 years in a Senior Engineer role , with demonstrated experience shipping features at scale and contributing to technical strategy.

• Expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack components (Navigation, Architecture, Room, etc.).

• Deep familiarity with modern mobile architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).

• Experience with large, complex codebases and mobile app performance optimization.

• Strong ownership mentality, comfortable working in ambiguity, and able to make sound technical and product tradeoffs.

Preferred

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical background.

• Experience with GraphQL APIs.

• Hands-on work with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), iBeacons, or other location services.

• Prior experience in B2B2C or productivity/dev tool companies with wide user adoption.
