Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or other payments
Check patients in and out using the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Assist with administrative tasks including faxing, scanning, and filing documents
Communicate effectively with providers and medical staff to support patient flow
Address patient concerns with empathy and escalate issues when necessary
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Qualifications:
Bilingual preferred
Minimal medical experience required; willing to train the right candidate
