This position is located in the city of Sacramento .

Previous applicants remain under consideration and do not need to reapply.Under the general direction of the Supervisor I, Classification and Selections Unit, the Analyst II performs the more responsible, varied and complex analytical classification and pay, recruitment and hiring duties for the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR). Assists in the development of department policies and procedures relating to personnel administration. Provides services such as consultation and training to field and central office supervisors and managers regarding all aspects of classification and pay and recruitment and hiring processes.
The Analyst II builds and maintains good working relationships with co-workers and DOR employees at all levels and functions as a team member with all staff in the unit. In addition, the incumbent maintains the highest degree of confidentiality in the administration of classification and pay, recruitment and hiring program as well as other aspects of personnel administration for the DOR.
Under Government Code 14200, this position is a hybrid, in-office/telework position, and may be subject to change. Incumbents must live and work in California. Incumbent can be required to report to the office, or any designated location at any time. Telework agreements can be modified and/or cancelled at any time.Multiple vacancies may exist.
