Snowflake / Sigma BI Developer (Contract)

Fincons Group is seeking a contractor with strong Snowflake and BI experience to support data visualization and reporting initiatives. This role will focus on building dashboards and interactive reporting solutions using Sigma, while leveraging Snowflake SQL, APIs, and JSON-based data structures.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable working directly with business and technical stakeholders, and able to build scalable reporting solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain BI dashboards, layouts, controls, and user actions within Sigma
• Develop and optimize Snowflake SQL queries to support reporting and analytics needs
• Work with JSON payloads to structure and transform data for integrations and reporting
• Utilize Sigma’s “Call API” functionality to connect external systems and automate workflows
• Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions
• Troubleshoot and improve dashboard performance, data accuracy, and usability
• Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of Snowflake-based reporting environments

Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Snowflake SQL
• Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions in Sigma (preferred)
• Solid understanding of BI and data visualization concepts
• Familiarity working with JSON data structures and payload manipulation
• Understanding of REST APIs and API integration concepts
• Ability to work independently in a contractor environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience:

• Experience integrating BI platforms with external APIs
• Experience working in cloud-based data environments
• Familiarity with media, entertainment, or enterprise reporting environments is a plus
