Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Sergeant, the Custodian I is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and hangar for the Thermal Air Operations Unit.

Specific duties include:

Collecting garbage and cleaning garbage receptacles: dusting desks, cabinets, counters, venetian blinds, tables, equipment and furniture; dusting floors, sweeping and wet mopping floors; stripping, cleaning and waxing floors as needed; vacuuming carpet and area rugs, dry clean carpets on bi-annual basis; cleaning aned disinfecting smudges on glass, counters, telephones, walls, windows, doors, and writing tables with spot and smudge remover to maintain the cleanliness of the office and facility.
