UX Designer (San Jose)

This is a contract remote role for a UX Designer. The UX Designer will focus on creating intuitive and user-centered designs to enhance the experience of digital products. Responsibilities include conducting user research, implementing design thinking principles, developing prototypes, refining user journeys, and producing high-quality visual designs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, is a key part of this role.

• Proficiency in Design Thinking and a user-centered approach to problem-solving
• Strong skills in User Research and gathering actionable insights
• Proficiency in User Experience (UX) design and Prototyping tools/techniques
• Experience in Visual Design, with attention to layout, color theory, and typography
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team dynamics is a plus
