Project Coordinator II (EHS Data Analyst)

Planet Group

We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Administrative Data Analyst to support our team with data-driven insights and efficient coordination of business processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building user-friendly reports and dashboards, and supporting operational or compliance-based teams.

The successful candidate will be computer-savvy, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across departments. Experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or regulatory environments is a plus, but the primary focus is data analysis, visualization, and administrative effectiveness.

  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visual tools using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms

  • Provide administrative support such as document management, training recordkeeping, scheduling, and coordinating cross-functional tasks

  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities through data analysis and present findings in accessible formats for leadership and stakeholders

  • Assist in preparing internal and external reports, including those required for audits, inspections, or compliance tracking (e.g., OSHA, ISO, internal KPIs)

  • Maintain accurate and organized systems for records, documents, and data entry

  • Coordinate with departments to support onboarding, data updates, and information sharing across platforms or systems

  • (Optional) Support EHS programs with data visualization, reporting on incidents, inspections, and corrective actions (CAPAs)
Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, administrative support, or business operations

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charting) and at least one data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a high attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Organized and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (e.g., Business, Information Systems, Environmental Science, Public Health, or a related field)
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with EHS processes, platforms (e.g., Intelex, Enablon), or regulatory data tracking

  • Basic knowledge of Airtable, SQL or Python for data querying or automation

  • Experience supporting audits or compliance reporting

  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., manufacturing, utilities, healthcare, or construction)
