Chef
At Dini's By The Sea, we believe great food brings people together. Our coastal-inspired menu highlights fresh, high-quality ingredients with an emphasis on flavor, creativity, and consistency. We are seeking a dedicated Chef to lead our kitchen team, elevate our culinary program, and deliver an outstanding dining experience for every guest.
The Chef is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu execution to team leadership. This role ensures that food quality, presentation, and service standards consistently meet the restaurant’s expectations while fostering a positive and productive kitchen environment. The Chef also plays a key role in cost control, training, and developing culinary staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service from prep to execution.
Create, update, and execute menu items that reflect the restaurant’s concept and standards.
Manage and train kitchen staff, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship.
Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Monitor food costs, portion control, and inventory to meet budget goals.
Oversee kitchen cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with management to plan specials, seasonal menus, and events.
Foster a team-oriented and professional kitchen culture.
3–5 years of experience in a leadership role within a professional kitchen (Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Chef).
Strong culinary skills and deep knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen operations.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
