Bartender

Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch is a destination that combines farm-to-table dining, award-winning wines, and true Napa Valley hospitality. 

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, and skilled at creating memorable experiences for our guests. You must be a team player, flexible with scheduling, and committed to maintaining a welcoming and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve food, wine, beer, and cocktails to guests.
• Engage with patrons in a welcoming and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized bar.
• Assist with cocktail development, inventory management, and weekly counts.
• Monitor customer alcohol intake and verify age requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years bartending in an upscale-casual, high-volume setting.
• Strong wine knowledge and ability to upsell products.
• Proficiency with POS systems and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule with availability on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Food Handler's certification and RBS certification required

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with unexpected situations
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry plates of food
• Must be able to lift cases of wine on a daily basis
• Must be able to use both hands to handle, grasp, move and control objects, tools and equipment operations
• Must be able to bend or twist body
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Compensation and Benefits

• Part-time hourly position
• The Company reasonably expects to pay in the range of $16.90 - $20.00 per hour, plus tips for this position. Of course, this is depending on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, and business or organizational needs. This wage range may be modified in the future.
