About the role:

As a Project Engineer, you will support the project team through all phases of construction, ensuring accuracy, organization, and proactive communication. Open to all levels of experience, this role offers an excellent opportunity to learn, contribute, and advance your construction career. This is an in‑office position with occasional travel to project sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with pre‑bid activities including subcontractor bid reviews, quantity takeoffs, and scope leveling.
• Managing plan check submissions, permits, and agency coordination while maintaining organized tracking logs.
• Conducting detailed job walks, reviewing bid documents, analyzing site conditions, and asking clarifying questions to support project success.
• Leading pre‑construction document reviews and building comprehensive submittal/MSDS logs; uploading and organizing plans, SKs, and addenda in Procore.
• Reviewing RFIs and submittals for compliance before sending for PM/Client approval; maintaining real‑time documentation in Procore.
• Supporting project closeout by gathering subcontractor documents, assisting with punch lists, reviewing site conditions, and ensuring accurate turnover packages.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction or a comparable field
• High school diploma required (additional education preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with all team members, including Project Managers, Superintendents, Ownership, and Subcontractors.
• Detail‑driven with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years experience as a Project Engineer with a Commercial General Contractor.
• Experience working on multiple large-scale projects concurrently.
