Social Media Content Creator and Video Producer (junior)
- Pre-Production & Strategy
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify stories that highlight innovation, culture, and people.
- Co-create concepts, scripts, and shot lists tailored for social media.
- Stay up to date on social trends and platform-specific best practices.
- Production
- Film on-site using mobile video equipment to capture interviews, b-roll, and event footage.
- Direct and conduct interviews with employees and leaders to bring stories to life.
- Ensure high-quality visuals and audio, with a focus on authenticity and accessibility.
- Post-Production
- Edit short-form videos (typically less than 3 minutes) using tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.
- Add music, captions, motion graphics, and branding elements.
- Deliver polished content optimized for social platforms and internal channels.
- Delivery & Optimization
- Ensure all content aligns with brand, accessibility, and inclusivity standards.
- Collaborate with social media manager to schedule and publish content.
- Analyze performance and iterate on content based on feedback and metrics.
- Required
- Proven experience creating short-form video content for social media (portfolio or reel required) from cell phone footage.
- Strong skills in filming, editing, and storytelling.
- Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut Pro).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects on tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and inclusive storytelling.
- Experience working in a tech environment.
- Preferred
- Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, or design tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop).
- On-camera or voiceover experience.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and global content considerations.
- The pay offered for this position will be a flat fee, deliverable based, that the contractor will bid on prior to accepting the work. This flat fee can range from $2,500-$7,500, based on the scope of the work.
- This is a contract role, and you will need to have a LLC or a corporation. Prowess Consulting is unable to engage sole proprietors in the state of California.
