SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for daily receiving and entering invoices from vendors and in house clients into our computer systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, verifying transactions, and reconciling accounts. verification of Federal ID numbers.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data.
- Other related duties assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
- Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
- Experience with NetSuite required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have at least 3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
- High school diploma required, A degree in accounting, finance or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven experience working in accounts payable or bookkeeping roles, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

- Competitive salary range $25-30 hourly depending on experience.
