The Mechanical Assembler will play a crucial role in assembling components for industrial machinery, working within medium-sized teams of 6-15 members. This position involves interpreting detailed blueprints and manuals, using hand tools and equipment to ensure quality assembly, and adhering to shift schedules that may include nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components according to detailed blueprints and manuals
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure components meet specifications
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Interpret technical drawings and assembly guides accurately
- Handle parts and materials carefully to prevent damage
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Work regular shifts including nights and weekends as required
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in mechanical assembly
- Proficient in blueprint reading and hand tool operation
- Strong understanding of quality control processes
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team settings
