Security Control Assessor
• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend control improvements to enhance system security posture.
• Document and report findings to system owners, ISSMs, and Government stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement corrective actions.
• Stay current with emerging security trends, threats, and best practices. Required Qualifications • AA/AS in a related discipline, OR 3+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Active IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) plus applicable CE/OS certification.
• Hands-on experience with ACAS, Microsoft Defender, STIGs, Microsoft 365, and eMASS.
• Working knowledge of RHEL, Windows Server, and macOS security configurations.
• U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a CAC. Desired Qualifications • BA/BS in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
• CAP, CISSP, or CGRC certification.
• Experience with DoD RMF accreditation and Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages.
• Prior support to DLIFLC, TRADOC, or other Army training installations.
