Facilities Maintenance

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Operations Associate Pay $ 30 hr. DOE Location: Berkeley CA 3 + Months A Facilities Maintenance Operations Associate job opportunity is available with our client in Berkeley, CA. In this role you will be responsible to make sure the facility runs smoothly and support the technical operations. To be considered for this role you will have 3+ years of hands-on facilities and/or maintenance experience within a fast-paced environment Facilities Maintenance Operations Job Duties

• You"ll interact with many teams, independently execute day-to-day operations and maintenance activities.
• Execute basic facilities maintenance and improvement tasks in support of technical development and office users, promptly closing out all work order requests using our online ticketing system
• Perform basic maintenance of facilities equipment, organizing and maintaining hardware and tools as well as assembling and installing facility furniture/equipment
• Maintain safe surfaces inside and outside the facility (snow removal on paths, wet floor caution, etc.); inspects facility for weather-related leaks
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all vendors, contractors, and colleagues
• Interface with vendors, provide escorts for in-housework, assist in security badge access
• Support Warehouse staff when on breaks, vacations, or as needed
• Manage recycling and waste removal schedule

Knowledge/Skills/Education/Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on facilities and/or maintenance experience within a fast-paced environment
• Ability to shift gears quickly and follow tasks/projects to completion with minimal prompting
• Willingness to contribute ideas towards organizational and technical problem solving
• Strong communication and organization skills with great attention to detail
• Ability to learn cloud based organizational tools (Envoy, Brivo, Asana knowledge a plus)
• Shift and Potential Overtime Flexibility
• Ability to regularly lift 35 to 50 lbs.
• Trades skills are a plus
