INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST I
Job Description and Duties
Utilizing Agile and continuous integration/continuous delivery development methodologies, the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) creates, enhances, and maintains Web and thick-client software application code. This position writes code and develops automated unit and integration tests to promote code quality. As a software developer, the ITS I will utilize object-oriented tools and methodologies including, but not limited to: Microsoft Visual Studio, ASP.NET, C#, Dotnet Core, Blazor, Model-View-Controller, Bootstrap, Structured Query Language, and Microsoft DevOps.
Serves as a lead software architect and designs, configures, and maintains a wide variety of custom software code repositories and databases. Coordinates and collaborates with multiple stakeholders and information technology (IT) operations staff including server teams, database administrators, network administrators, windows administrators, and information security engineers to implement software solutions that solve a wide variety of business and operational challenges. The developer will adhere to the Software Development Group's coding standards as well as applicable enterprise and state level security and statutory mandates.
The ITS I is responsible for writing code, developing unit tests, debugging, integration testing, documentation, and migration of databases.

- Describe your programming language, Structured Query Language, and database-driven application experience. Include examples of your experience and the number of years.
- Write a short summary of a software application you have designed. What part of the project was the most difficult to setup? Are there any features you are proud of designing?
