Campus Maintenance

Job Summary

Dutchman Hospitality Campus Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of all facilities across the hospitality campus, including the restaurant, hotel, and gift shop. This role ensures that all buildings, equipment, and grounds are safe, functional, and well-maintained to support excellent guest experiences and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of buildings, fixtures, and equipment.
2. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
3. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
4. Maintain kitchen equipment (e.g., refrigeration, ovens, dishwashers) within scope of training.
5. Address plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues that impact food service operations.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
7. Perform tasks such as painting, drywall repair, minor carpentry, and fixture replacement.
8. Perform exterior repairs.
9. Monitor parking areas, walkways, signage, and outdoor lighting.

Skills you’ll bring along

1. Knowledgeable of electrical systems and common mechanical skills preferred
2. HVAC a plus
3. EPA license preferred
4. Able to lift up to 75 pounds

Safety & Compliance

1. Follow safety regulations.
2. Assist with fire safety inspections, emergency preparedness, and equipment checks.
3. Report safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Vendor & Team Coordination

1. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when needed.
2. Communicate effectively with management and department heads.
3. Assist other departments with maintenance-related needs as required.

Qualifications

Required

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or commercial facilities.
3. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
4. Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Work Schedule

1. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
2. On-call availability for emergencies may be required.
