Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will utilize microscopes, tweezers, and small hand tools to meticulously inspect materials, work-in-process, and finished semiconductor chips, ensuring they meet customer, company, and industry standard requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials for conformance to specifications and standards.
• Document non-conformances according to company procedure.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment as required and directed.
• Collect inspection data as needed.
• Write certificates of conformance.
• Participate in internal and external Quality Management System audits.

Essential Skills

• Quality control expertise.
• Experience in microscope inspection.
• Manual inspection experience.
• Ability to understand drawings/diagrams to identify dimensions and tolerances.
• Quality assurance and QC testing capabilities.
• Document control proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years minimum experience in a Quality position.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to document reports.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation/travelers.
• Good hand-eye coordination with the ability to work under a microscope 100% of the time.
• Ability to use inspection equipment such as calipers and gauges.
• High level of communication skills to collaborate with other departments.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Escondido, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
