Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Minimum experience: Not a new graduate. Prior outpatient physical therapy experience required.
• Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documentation including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy support staff and students. Participation in student education as needed.
• Familiarity with safe patient handling and infection control practices. Adherence to state practice act and discipline-specific professional code of conduct.
• Preferred: Experience working in outpatient clinic settings and competency with electronic medical record documentation.

• Duration: 13-week assignment.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5x8 (five days per week, eight-hour shifts).
