Project Engineer

• Maintain accurate project data and documentation within the project management system.

• Perform quality control on project documentation and data entry.

• Coordinate the distribution and tracking of project documents, RFIs, submittals, and design activities.

• Assist with the preparation and review of commissioning specifications and project documentation.

• Review technical design documents for quality and compliance.

• Support the commissioning, testing, startup, and activation of building systems, including electrical, low-voltage, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems.

• Witness system startup, testing, and commissioning activities.

• Maintain commissioning issue logs and activation checklists.

• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Assist with operational readiness activities, simulations, and lessons learned sessions.

• Support project reporting, presentations, audits, and construction documentation.

• Prepare daily construction reports and provide ongoing project support.

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering for design or construction projects.

• At least 2 years of recent construction experience.

• Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems is preferred.

• Experience with design-build project delivery methods is preferred.

• Proficiency with Primavera, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Unifier.

• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

• Experience supporting testing, commissioning, and activation of building systems is highly desirable.
