Sr. Admin Assistant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Alameda, California. In this role, you will provide essential compliance and budgeting support to ensure the smooth operation of program processes. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities: budgeting, reporting, and compliance. + Manage the financial aspects of grants, including budgeting, forecasting, tracking expenditures, and ensuring proper fund allocation + Prepare and submit detailed financial reports to grantors to ensure accuracy and compliance with funding guidelines + Monitor grant obligations and expenditures to ensure alignment with program goals and deadlines. Requirements Job Requirements: + Proven experience in grant management or financial reporting, preferably for nonprofits, government agencies, or educational institutions + Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements for grants. + Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools such as QuickBooks or similar platforms. + Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
