Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with the plan of care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor patient responses and side effects
- Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and document findings in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the care team to coordinate treatment and discharge planning
- Monitor for changes in patient condition; respond to clinical alarms and escalate to the appropriate team member
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; ensure accurate, timely documentation and patient education

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Willingness to commit to an 8-week travel assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to act autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in medication administration and electronic medical record documentation
