Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 3-5 years recent relevant experience License: Active Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience with recovery on deep organ and angiography cases preferred. - IR/Cath Lab experience preferred. - Ability to operate complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment. - Capability to explain and educate patients on procedures, medications, contrast media, and associated biological effects. Description: The position involves working as an Interventional Radiology RN, with partial responsibilities in a recovery room. The RN will care for patients recovering from deep organ biopsies and angiographic procedures. The role requires operating diagnostic equipment and assisting physicians in various invasive procedures. Routine and priority tasks must be completed within established departmental time frames. The RN is responsible for alleviating patient fear and anxiety by providing professional and clear explanations of procedures. Call responsibilities include one night per week and every fourth weekend. Rotating weekends are expected. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of relevant experience and be prepared for a fast-paced environment. About Cynet Health
