Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic settings License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Applicants must have experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic nursing. Travel experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend coverage is required. On-call requirements apply, with distribution among staff every 6 weeks. Candidates must be willing to float between similar units as needed. Description: The role involves providing nursing care in the operating room setting. Teamwork is essential as you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for preparing the operating room for procedures. This includes ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functioning. You will assist in administering anesthesia and monitoring patient vital signs during surgeries. Participants in trauma cases will be expected to perform under pressure. Sensitivity to various patient needs and diagnoses is required. Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control practices is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary to interact with the surgical team. You must adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including possible night shifts. About Cynet Health
